    Excellent advice, Drew. Thank you.
I’ve tried laterals like that. It’s killer trying to hold at the top.

The difference boys and girls, is that if you have to heave it, it’s too heavy. I should know. I’ve done it both ways.
I could barley lift, in strict form, what I could heave. And a more manageable weight burned more when I focused on form.

If your goal is to sling weights, be a Power/ Olympic lifter. That is how you learn the skill set involved to do that.
If you want to learn correct form and exercise safely and effectively, apply what Drew is advocating.

    Train hard and live longer:)

Too bad so many people look at big guys throwing weights around and automatically assume that they got big because of the way they workout , they don’t stop to discover the other things that allow big guys to use “shit form”, such as genetic factors and the cornucopia of drugs they use to enhance their genetically superior response to exercise.

You can get big and strong using shit form but you’re going to do more damage to your body over time. The momentary ego boost isn’t worth it.
