April HIT Video Seminar: How To Lose Fat While Maintaining Or Increasing Muscle Mass

    Sorry I missed this seminar. Project Kratos and TSC books have been really helpful and developing routines for myself.

    In your non-bodyweight routines that I have seen you don’t seem to emphasize Leg Extension or Leg Curl movements. If that’s the case, must be you find that those movements don’t add much to development if Leg Press / Squat and Straight Legged Deadlift movements are performed correctly?

      Hey Martin,

      When properly performed leg extensions and leg curls are effective exercises for the quadriceps and hamstrings, however because these muscles are also effectively targeted during compound exercises like leg presses, squats, and deadlifts I usually don’t start people out with them. I prefer to have people start out with the compound exercises because they are easier for most people to learn, then later include simple exercises when someone wants or needs to focus on a particular area.
